Embedded Software Engineer
Salary: £35,000-£60,000 p/a
We have an opportunity to join an exciting and growing UK technology company with innovation, agility and state of the art technology at its core. This is an opportunity to work in partnership with UK government customers and commercial providers to deliver research, technology and products in the communications security sector.
We are looking for 3 highly competent Software Engineers to join the close-knit team and help deliver on their growing portfolio. Responsibilities include conception, design, development, coding, testing and debugging of complex software solutions on a variety of COTS and bespoke hardware platforms hosting both mainstream operating systems and secure microkernels.
* Design and implementation of robust embedded and user-facing software applications
* Development/modification of board support packages and drivers for hardware devices, filesystems, etc.
* Development/contribution to technical proposals.
* Involvement in Agile Scrum ceremonies and design sessions.
* Real-time C/C++ programming
* Scripting - Python, Bash, etc.
* Linux and Windows operating systems
* Network communications protocols
As you will be working closely with UK government customers, to be considered for this role you must be able to obtain UK SC security clearance.

You will be working within a relaxed and informal environment with the opportunity to put forward ideas for new work streams.
