Infrastructure Lead - Cirencester - Up to £44,600

InfoSec People are looking for ambitious experienced Infrastructure Lead to join a small trusted Financial Services Provider, based in Cirencester. The company not only delivers exceptional service to its members, but values and supports its staff by making them part of the business as well.
As the Infrastructure Lead, you will manage the Infrastructure team and projects, as well as engage with Stakeholders and key vendors alike.

You will act as an escalation point for difficult and complex incidents, service requests and problems, so a calm disposition would put you in good stead.

·Contribute to the development of IT departmental strategies to align with the overall business strategy
·Own and run the Change process and Change Advisory Board
·Oversee all aspects of IT infrastructure, Communication (LAN, WAN, email, etc.), database, backup recovery, regulatory compliance
·Maintains overall operational security of the firm's network, systems, and data
·Manage staff members in their daily activities as well as supporting business projects
·Manage overall capacity utilisation of server environment ensuring it is optimised to meet business requirements
·Develop and implement hardware and software standards for network, servers, databases, wireless technology, file & print services, etc.
·Determine, recommend and implement hardware and software upgrades for business applications, server hardware, network equipment, desktop, laptop, etc.
·Set up and follow best practice guidelines and frameworks E.g. ITIL
·Responsible for software license compliance

·Proven background in running a small organisation Service Desk
·Demonstrated experience of leading Windows based technology teams
·Cloud implementation working knowledge
·Understanding of the end to end infrastructure set up involved with companies that have a small DC footprint
·An understanding of Insurance or Financial Services industries desirable
