InfoSec People Announce Official Partnership With Hub8
InfoSec People, the specialist cyber security and tech recruitment company, are delighted to be named as the official talent acquisition partner of Hub8, the cyber/tech co-working space based in Cheltenham’s Brewery Quarter.
For start-ups, the first few critical hires could be the make or break of their company and recruiting effectively will require a large amount of work and time commitment in an area where directors and business owners may have minimal prior experience. Recruiting the right people to trust with the company’s fledgling ideas can bring a whole host of time-consuming challenges which could take attention away from what Owners and Directors do best.
InfoSec People are here to guide members through the process as a trusted partner and mentor, working with owners and directors from initial consultations on their first hire through to building diverse, multi-discipline teams. Our mission is to support and enable members’ growth through advising on and delivering effective and scalable talent acquisition strategies.
SCALING THROUGH EXCEPTIONAL TALENT
InfoSec People become the latest addition to the Hub8 member benefits offering and will be providing members with advice and guidance in how to build and scale effective tech and cyber teams.
As a leading supplier of cyber security recruitment solutions, InfoSec have built the teams at some of the UK’s most exciting cyber and tech scaleups since inception in 2008. Previous clients include CyberOwl, Ripjar, Senseon, Bitweave, Surevine, Tanium, Borwell, Deep3, (acquired by CACI Nov2019) and TrustNetworks (acquired by Lyft Feb2019).
Chris Dunning-Walton, InfoSec People’s Managing Director, comments:
“We are absolutely delighted to be formally supporting Bruce and the team at Hub8, working with company owners and directors who require mentoring and support in how to effectively attract and retain the best talent in the sector. The team at InfoSec genuinely love working with owner-led scale-ups who really understand the value of the people in their business and that the right hire can lead to rapid transformational growth.
The recruitment industry has typically struggled to effectively support cyber start-ups. The focus on transactional, large scale recruitment solutions with mid-to-large enterprise clients can be difficult to translate into the SME space. As a growing SME ourselves, we have direct experience of scale-up challenges and have worked hard to create flexible, scalable solutions for all our clients which add value beyond headcount growth.”
InfoSec will be providing a series of mentoring sessions at Hub8 over the next six months, advising and mentoring on a number of key recruitment topics. This will include how to effectively leverage existing networks to hire directly, how to hire at pace and with clarity as well as how to craft a company people really want to work for in a competitive talent marketplace. The recruitment specialists will also be offering one-to-one clinics to answer any questions members may have during the course of the programme.
InfoSec’s first free-to-attend mentoring session will be on Wednesday 4th November from 4.30pm-5.30pm and will cover how to build a company that people really want to work for, via building an employer brand, your company values and mission/vision statements;
- How to build an employer brand – advocacy, leveraging existing networks effectively
- Culture; how to craft a company people want to work for
- Building authentic purpose and company values to attract and retain talent; what’s your why
