Management and Operations
Owner & Managing Director
Ben joined InfoSec People as a 360 Consultant in 2017, bringing with him a background in the teaching recruitment industry. In 2022, he became the Managing Director of InfoSec People after building his own desk and single-handedly setting up InfoSec People’s Contract division during the pandemic. Additionally, he took charge of hiring and training the team behind this division. Furthermore, Ben played a pivotal role in developing InfoSec People’s Statement of Work (SOW) offering.
As of 2023, Ben has officially become the owner of InfoSec People following a successful Management Buyout (MBO). This achievement marks the continuation of the company’s upward trajectory, solidifying its position as the best cyber security recruitment company in the industry. Ben’s expertise on IR35 enables him to provide his clients and candidates with all the necessary assistance to remain compliant with legislation.
In his spare time, Ben enjoys living in the Cotswolds with his fiancée, sons Harry and Raffy, and their miniature dachshund, Woody. He is also a dedicated Leeds United fan and enjoys a whisky to round off his week!
Head of Operations
With a background in HR and recruitment compliance, Lauren joined InfoSec People five years ago with a passion for processes and getting things done! She is responsible for managing our business operations including compliance, HR, internal hiring, facilities, suppliers, systems and processes. Outside of work Lauren will most likely be found in the front row at a gig or studying for her Open University degree.

Harriet joined InfoSec People as a Marketing Executive in December 2020, receiving a promotion in April 2022 to Marketing Manager after winning the internal ‘Director’s Choice Award 2021/22’ for her exceptional work within InfoSec People and Sentients. Her previous marketing roles in recruitment and cyber security consultancy has given Harriet a passion for finding new and exciting ways to engage with the cyber security community. As well as formal employed work in marketing, Harriet has freelanced as a graphic designer for small independent companies and media channels finding innovative ways to convey the desired branding. Harriet is often found enjoying geeky tv shows and films, rollerblading, bouldering or going on adventures with her friends and family.
Head of Contract
Ali joins InfoSec People as our Head of contract, based out of our Bristol Office he is spear heading and expanding the contract division. Ali has over 7 years of recruitment experience, spanning across the technology and change spheres in multiple industries. Coming from a competitive swimming background, Ali finds solace in all things associated with water. In his spare time, you’ll catch him either riding the waves while surfing, hunting underwater treasures through spearfishing, or casting his line for a big catch while fishing. And if he happens to be on solid ground, chances are he’ll be splurging his money on food or planning his next thrilling adventure abroad!
Head of Practice | Security Consultancy
Joel joined InfoSec People as a Senior Information Security Recruitment Partner in August 2020, he has held multiple roles within the business as he has progressed, including; Contract Team Lead, Principal Consultant, Consultancy Lead, Cheltenham Team Lead, and is now Head of Practice – Security Consultancy. Joel’s role is to grow InfoSec People’s footprint across the industry and lead the team across delivery into the sector. Based in Worcestershire, Joel lives with his fiancée, young son, and their cats. Joel is an accomplished guitar player and a big fan of Aston Villa.
Head of Practice | Security Operations
James joined InfoSec in 2020 with three years’ experience in recruitment and quickly climbed the ladder to Principal Recruitment Partner, to then be promoted to Head of Practice – Security Operations. James has worked on both contract and permanent placements and really enjoys working within cyber security recruitment; he loves having a chat about all things cyber. James focuses on building best-in-class SOC teams for SME’s and FTSE 100s. When not working James loves being down the pub with friends or finding new dog accounts to follow on Instagram.
Practice Lead | Contract
Jamie joins InfoSec People as our Practice Lead – Contract Security. Jamie has spent the last 3 years working in contract recruitment, gaining valuable experience in the UK/EU Cyber Security sector. Working from our Cheltenham Office, Jamie is eager to further enhance his already strong reputation. Jamie comes from a sporting background having played rugby at a high level for several years. Jamie also run’s a small charity called ‘The Boot Tribe’ which strives to delivery unused boots and trainers to athletes in Africa.
Jenny works as a Recruitment Partner within InfoSec People focusing on Cyber Sales. Jenny has a background of recruitment in social care but decided to make the jump to Cyber Technology for more experience and opportunity. In Jenny’s spare time she loves long walks with the dogs, socialising with friends and family and binging a good series.
Emma works as a Recruitment Partner within InfoSec People. Emma has a background in UX/UI Recruitment and decided to get involved with the cyber security industry and work with her clients in building high-performing teams. Emma has a passion for traveling, (can’t beat a weekend somewhere in Europe), she loves supporting local restaurants and has a passion for photography, something she wants to take seriously as a side hustle for 2024!
Thomas joined InfoSec in 2024 with two and half years of Technical Recruitment Experience in Engineering. Thomas is excited about working with startups and Scale-ups within Cyber SMEs & SMBs. Thomas works in permanent and contract placements and enjoys working in cyber security recruitment. When not working, Thomas loves exploring and travelling and recently travelled to Australia, Fuji and Hong Kong, playing and watching football and rugby or trying to keep up with Mary Berry’s latest recipe!
Delivery Team Lead
Matt has joined InfoSec People as a Recruitment Delivery Partner, focusing on IT including Scrum Masters, Business Analysts and Java Developers, within the year Matt was promoted to Delivery Team Lead. Matt has previously worked as a Relationship Manager at UCAS as well as Ecotricity. He is passionate about mental health care in the workplace and has a black belt in Taekwondo. In his spare time Matt loves nothing more than training in the gym, long walks with his dog Bobbi or watching a Marvel film.
Recruitment Delivery Partner
Becca has joined InfoSec People as a Recruitment Delivery Partner, focusing on Information Security, Vulnerability Research, Reverse Engineering and GRC. Becca previously worked as a Pensions Administrator for Lloyds Banking Group, networking with everyone in the office from telephony to Governance and Oversight. Becca is passionate about promoting equal opportunities for everyone in the workplace. She’s a keen advocate for womens’ rights outside of work, and trains in Krav Maga (an Israeli martial art used for self defence). When Becca’s not at Krav Maga or strength training at the gym, she loves getting stuck into some literary fiction, trying new vegan recipes, and a good Pixar film (the original Toy Story)!
Recruitment Delivery Partner
Toby works as a Recruitment Delivery Partner within InfoSec People. Toby has previously worked within Contract and 360 Permanent Recruitment teams expanding his knowledge of the cybersecurity and tech industry. Toby has always been interested in new experiences and has been traveling around Australia before living in Dubai for a year. In his spare time, he enjoys getting involved in sports, with football being the main one.
Having recruited the UK’s best IT & Cyber Security talent for blue chip clients including JP Morgan, KPMG, Siemens, BT and more over the last decade, Chris set up InfoSec People in 2008, passionate about creating high-end solutions and finding Great People for Great Companies. In May 2023, Chris completed the MBO of InfoSec People, to Managing Director, Benjamin Craig. Chris now supports InfoSec People as one of our experienced Board Advisors. Chris is an ex-professional rugby player and lover of Hawaiian shirts, pina coladas and surfing in his free time.
David joins InfoSec People’s advisory board as the official Strategic Advisor. David has nearly 40 years experience in business development, senior management and training in the recruitment industry and has set up and sold staffing companies in his earlier career. He has also worked in the maritime and cyber sectors and has a keen interest in mentoring and support. In his spare time, David has always been interested in sport, fitness, family and dogs but not necessarily in that order.
Advisory Board Member
Steve joins InfoSec People as one our esteemed Advisory Board members. Steve has worked in Technology and more specifically Cyber Security for over 20 years. During his career he has worked across multiple industry sectors including; blue chip, government & defence, financial services, telecommunications, utilities and technology start-up. Steve began his career as a systems engineer with Intel where he developed a passion for Cyber Security. He has since successfully undertaken numerous CISO and security transformation roles for a variety of large and diverse organisations. In his spare time, Steve likes keeping fit by getting out on his road bike as often as possible, and also enjoys building electric guitars.
Cameron (Buck) Rogers
Advisory Board Member
Following a 15-year career in the Royal Navy, Buck held a number of senior leadership roles at the Ministry of Defence. He then joined the Bank of England where he was Chief Information Security Officer and latterly Chief Security Officer. Buck designed the CBEST cyber testing program, for which he won a Bank of England Governors award. In June 2019, Buck joined HSBC as Group Head of Resilience Advisory Function, since January 2021 he has been a Head of Cyber in the defence industry.
Buck holds a Professorship in Cyber Security at the University of Gloucestershire and is a Cyber expert for the International Monetary Fund. Professor Rogers is also part of the Carnegie ‘Cyber Policy Initiative’ to develop an ‘International Strategy for Cybersecurity and the Global Financial System’.
Outside of “cyber”, Buck loves the Moomins, Depeche Mode (with tattoos to prove it) – and is an avid Norwich City Fan. Buck is also an advocate for neurodiversity due to being overt dyslexic.
Advisory Board Member
A recognised and proven FTSE100 CISO with long interim tenures at Admiral Insurance, Coventry Building Society, Aviva and the Bank of England, Mark has direct experience of starting security programmes from scratch, leading cyber functions and reinvigorating security teams.
As one of our key advisory board members, Mark provides consultancy and advisory augmentation on InfoSec People searches. In his spare time Mark is a champion dog trainer and competes nationally with his gun dogs.
